Debuting in 1999, the holster bag is one of Helmut Lang's most iconic designs. Still inspiring designers today, it also inspired a New York Times article when it was first shown (Big Pockets, No Pants). Constructed from lightweight cotton, the bag features a velcro-closure waist, and thin leg strap, which you step into. The main pocket is slim-profile, allowing you to carry your cell phone, a paperback book, or maybe a banana. A can of soda is right out. A zip pocket on the waistband lets you safely stash your credit cards and ID.
Amazingly, this piece is still new with tags, albeit wrinkled from storage.
